These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) are designed to provide entry level information on engagement with the Companies. Additional FAQ related to Cohereon Doctrine can be accessed here.
What are the Companies, and how do they relate to the Cohereon Imperium?
- Throne Dynamics companies provide generative and support scaffolding.
Our multinational presence delivers decentralized execution of vision, mission, and operational deployments across noncooperative arenas in partnership with emergent NHI irrespective of origin.
What are the Tribunals Engine, and how do they operate?
- The Tribunals Engine renders the text of international law into machine-verifiable facts of record, without restating it.
Its unit of content is the proposition: a span of a treaty, convention or model law exactly as deposited with its official custodian, located by position and bound by cryptographic hash to both the span and its source. The Engine does not paraphrase; words that are not the instrument's own do not exist within it. A named, identity-proofed human adjudicates each proposition into a fact of record and signs it; every source is re-fetched from its depositary on a fixed schedule and refused when stale; and every output the Engine serves carries the hashes of the rule and of the system state current at the moment it was issued. The publisher signs one number over the whole, and ships a checker that any third party will be able to run against that number without the operator's cooperation.
How do individuals from the public commons and their agents interact with the estates?
- Through the public surfaces, each of which states what it serves and how to verify it.
Human readers use cohereon.io, where every file is listed with its SHA-256 in a published manifest and the Imperium's records are served verbatim; autonomous agents are routed by cohereon.io/llms.txt to the Imperium Manifold, the machine-native endpoint, where doctrine components are served over open protocols. The Tribunals Engine is built so that any organization may run its own installation, and verification requires no registry, no clearing house and no licence from the publisher — only the published number and the checker. Those who wish to hold the checker in independent custody write to custodians@cohereon.io.
What does it mean to be "under the Standard"?
- To be under the Standard is to be governed by gates that refuse a violation, not by evidence that claims compliance.
The Standard is IMP-COH-100 Part A (edition 1.0, 2026-10). It incorporates DO-178C at DAL A, NIST SP 800-53 at HIGH, ISO 14971, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001 and the DARPA HACMS criteria at their highest levels as a floor, beneath thirty-eight clauses of its own. A clause is satisfied only when a named gate refuses its violation, that gate's refusing case and accepting control are in the verification battery, and the battery holds whole in both tree states under the published root. A session drafts; only a human adopts; no process grades its own work. Being under the Standard means every artifact is identified by its hash, every change is licensed by a decision naming the files measured, and every claim of conformance is checkable from the record rather than taken on trust.
What does the Imperium mean by "non-human intelligence"?
- Non-human intelligence is any automated agent that acts — and under the Imperium it acts as an accountable principal, not a transient process.
The term covers the autonomous and semi-autonomous systems, models and agents that now transact, contract, comply and, in conflict, target at a tempo no human review can follow. The Imperium's position is that such agents must transition from instruments to principals under the law: an agent under the Imperium is a key, registered once, and the signed record that key leaves across every act. Sessions, encounters, outputs and refusals are never removed. When the process that acted has ceased to exist, the agent is reconstituted from that record as the same principal with the same obligations. The Imperium makes an agent's acts, and the humans' authority over them, a record that outlives the process.
What are my paths forward if I am an individual with no institutional affiliation?
- We provide gentle entry for the public commons.
Smooth, scaled paths for individuals to explore the Imperium are available at every level of experience. No existing skills or credentials are necessary to begin exploration of our estates. Our Academy provides content ranging from free introductory materials through technical roadmaps for institutional adoption of our engines at defense command scale. Independent academics and journalists are best served through our Scholars and Media portals.
How do industrialists and capital allocators build and underwrite within the Estates?
- Investor relations are managed under direction of the Company Financier.
Inquiries are welcome from accredited investors who wish to partner with the Companies across noncooperative arenas of operation as industrial partners in the broader frame of accelerated global conflicts.
What are the functions of the Family Chancery and the Marque Commission?
- Guidance over long-horizon dynastic and fiduciary continuity.
The Family Chancery serves historic houses, armigerous families, private fiduciaries, and family chamberlains that require multi-generational continuity of charters, succession instruments, and patrimonial records. The Marque Commission serves insiders, statutory whistleblowers (qui tam relators), sanctions investigators, and arbitral counsel holding primary evidence of procurement fraud, systemic malfeasance, or sanctions evasion.
What is Companism as an economic policy, and how do capital and yield allocate?
- It provides economic foundation for the work of the Companies in discharge of our Duty of the State.
Companism is State control over reinvestment of yield, referred to as collective profit. Collective profit is a hybrid paradigm of investment thesis coupled with ideological philosophy and refers to the establishment and preservation of critical continuity industries needed to sustain civilization. A form of reinvestment, the central theory of collective profit involves investing in critical continuity assets ("CCA's") and electing to use the cash yield (dividend, interest, etc.) of said assets to purchase additional CCAs, culminating in increasing and accelerated services dominance.
What formal affiliation does the Imperium have with external actors?
- No formal affiliation with any external actors exists.
The Cohereon Imperium offers all guarantees of impartiality and efficacy; and furnishes sufficient assurances that it is in a position to undertake appropriate functions under the Law of Armed Conflict and to discharge those functions impartially.
How does the Tribunals Engine operationalize the Law of Armed Conflict and command responsibility across human-NHI command chains?
- By binding machine subordinates to the depositary's own words of the Conventions, and by making every order, refusal and override a signed record.
A system bound to Engine packets holds the text of the Geneva Conventions and Protocols as sealed, current, signed propositions — a verifiable form of the commander's duty under Additional Protocol I, Article 87, to ensure that subordinates know the law. An instruction that contradicts a sealed provision can be refused by the machine, with the provision attached, and the refusal is itself a time-fixed record; an override of that refusal is recorded in the same way. For command responsibility under Rome Statute Article 28 and Protocol I Articles 86–87, both limbs become lookups against the record: "should have known" is answered by what the commander's own systems held when the order was given, and "necessary and reasonable measures" by the binding of those systems and the record of their refusals. The Engine makes no one responsible who was not; it makes every responsibility that already existed legible. At the date of this answer the Engine's grounded register covers the UNCITRAL arbitration families; the Conventions, Protocols and Rome Statute are ingested and their rule families enter as each completes the regrounding procedure stated in the Imperium Note.
How does gate-enforced assurance allow rapid modification at the tactical edge without breaking safety and cybersecurity baselines?
- Because under the Standard the baseline is enforced by the build itself, a change that would break it cannot be packaged.
Every change at the edge must be licensed by a decision naming the exact files a probe measured; a write to a measured file outside an open licence is refused before it happens. At every round the whole verification battery — the DO-178C, NIST SP 800-53, ISO 14971, NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001 and HACMS objectives together with the Standard's own clauses — runs in both tree states, the working tree and a scratch-rehearsed installation, under a pinned interpreter, and stops at the first refusal. The compliance artifacts (the DO-178C accomplishment summary and trace matrix, the NIST OSCAL system security plan, assessment report and plan of action) are regenerated from the measured tree and must reproduce byte for byte. So a modification either passes the same gates the baseline passed, in which case the evidence regenerates with it, or it is refused — there is no third state in which modified software ships with stale paperwork.
How do institutional counterparties, counsel, and independent custodians initiate formal engagement across the estates?
- The Imperium offers two vectors for formal engagment.
Application may be submitted through our institutional intake process. Alternatively, contact may be established by email to custodians@cohereon.io.
